| Here's a detailed account of a typical event.
Planning
- Before
the event we work with you to create a customized version of the instant
photographs we will print at the event. You choose the background, special
effects, writing, logos and images, etc.
Setup
- We
check in with the contact person and determine where to place our background,
lights, camera, printers and computers. We calibrate our lights and
test the equipment and work out final logistics.
Guest
Experience
- We
direct the guests where to stand in front of the background. Often we
put a piece of tape to mark the spot. We let them know we will be taking
two pictures and then take them.
- The
photographer directs the guests to the computer area and gives them
the number of their photo.
- Guests
go to one of the computers and type in their photograph number.
- The
computer shows them both of their photos and allows them to choose their
favorite.
- Option - The
computer asks how many copies they would like. Typically the limit is
one per person but this limit can be set to whatever you'd like prior
to the event.
- Option - If
the guest wants, they can type in their e-mail address so that they
can receive an e-mail version of their photo after the event. This e-mail
is in addition to the instant print. The actual e-mail has a large photo
(for printing) and a small one (for e-mailing).
- The
computer gives them a message that they can come back in about 10 minutes
and their photos will be ready for pickup. If there is no backup then
the photos are actually available in a minute or two but we find it important to
not have people waiting around since it blocks the next people who want
to choose their photo.
- We give you any unclaimed photos.
After
the Event
- Option - We
mail you a CD of all the photos taken during the event and send their photo to all guests that requested an e-mail copy.
